Pricing
TL;DR: CookieVault is free forever for local cookie management on any device — no card, no time limit. Pro is $4/month or $36/year and adds end-to-end encrypted sync, cookie history with undo, and team sharing. Team is $9/seat/month for centralized billing, audit log, SCIM, and SSO.
CookieVault pricing is a simple two-tier model designed around one principle: the features you need to replace EditThisCookie and Cookie AutoDelete are free, permanently, without a paywall. The Pro tier exists for a single reason — encrypted cross-device sync — and is priced at the low end of comparable privacy-tool subscriptions.
Tier comparison
In short: Free covers the entire local workflow. Pro adds sync, history, and sharing. Team adds enterprise controls. No per-cookie limits, no time-bombed trials, no “free for 14 days” bait.

Free tier — what you get
In short: Everything you need to replace EditThisCookie (Editor) and Cookie AutoDelete (Guardian) in a single Free install, forever, without a card. Most users never need Pro.
Six capabilities in the Free tier that cover the full EditThisCookie + Cookie AutoDelete replacement workflow:
- Full cookie CRUD — view, create, edit, delete with SameSite / HttpOnly / Secure / Expires attribute editing
- Multi-format export — JSON (structured), Netscape cookies.txt (for curl / wget), HAR (full request archives)
- Multi-account profiles — up to 2 named profiles with one-click switching
- Auto-delete on tab close — cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, Service Worker registrations
- Whitelist + greylist + wildcards — unlimited entries
- Dark mode — system-aware, with manual override
Pro tier — when you need it
In short: You need Pro if (and only if) you use more than one device and want your cookies / whitelist synced between them, or you want the safety net of cookie-history undo. $4/month, $36/year (25% off). Covers both Editor and Guardian.
Three scenarios where Pro pays for itself:
- Multi-device developer — laptop at work, desktop at home, both need the same cookie profiles and whitelist rules. Pro syncs them automatically.
- QA engineer with test fixtures — export cookies on one machine, import on another via sync, without emailing JSON files around.
- Accidental tab-close insurance — Pro’s 30-day cookie history lets you restore individual cookies you closed by accident, one click at a time.
